The pipeline of Guangdong LNG project is designed as the highest standards of domestic and international specifications. In order to ensure the construction task to be performed efficiently and safely, and prevent the high pressure natural gas pipe to be damaged, the contractors should follow the following steps and procedures for conducting any reconnoiter, digging etc construction activities.

• Before construction, should carefully observe whether there are any stake marker sign or relevant signs, and use the mental detector or manual dig to detect whether there is any high pressure natural gas pipe under the ground.
• If you find the high pressure natural gas pipe under the ground, please call GDLNG 24 hours emergency call 400 6788600 immediately showed on the stake marks visibly, and inform the detail location and basic circumstance.
• After the third party contractor calls GDLNG 24 hours toll free number, GDLNG should immediately send ROW representative, security advisor, security patrol guard in this area with construction worker from third party to learn the detail situation.

If the contractor will carry out construction work within 5 meters at the either side of high pressure pipeline, and will threaten pipeline safety, ROW representative need to measure out the exact pipeline location, depth parameter etc on spot and make the temporary mark, distribute the High Pressure Pipeline Notification to contractors. It is especially to mention that if excavating within 5 meters of the high pressure natural gas pipe right of way, strictly forbidden to use machine excavation, only manual digging allowed.

• If conducting any major construction work within 10 meters of the high pressure natural pipe right of way, the contractor must provide the detail construction plan and the application to GDLNG, and before construction, the formal approval must be obtained from GDLNG.
• After receiving the construction plan and application submitted by third party contractor, GDLNG need to organize technical staff to approve and reply as soon as possible. The contractor should be subject to the request of GDLNG whether it is necessary to sign the Safety Protection for Natural Gas Pipeline and Facility Agreement according to the real construction situation on site. • During construction, the relevant protection measures should be provided according to GDLNG's request, eg. if the pipe, coating and the pipe's subordinate facilities (including the marks, signs, CP stations and water & soil preservation ground facilities etc) are damaged by contractors, they should call GDLNG 400 6788600 first, and be responsible for repairing the damage per GDLNG's request;
• To ensure the pipeline's safety during the construction, GDLNG ROW reps. Technical & security advisors, and security patrol guards will have the site visit at any time, the contractor must fully cooperate.
• After the construction finish, restore site per GDLNG's requirement, and advise GDLNG ROW representative to site for check and acceptance.
