Pipeline safety is one of the key points to be concerned in safe operations since GDLNG commercial operation. The department managing pipeline safety in GDLNG is ROW (Right Of Way).

ROW was established in November 2007 with 11 staff. Main responsibilities are as follows:

• Responsible for establishing company pipeline protection policy and procedure.
• To manage the area within 5 meters from both sides of pipeline, coordinate and inspect the third party activities near our natural gas pipeline.
• To inspect, supervise, check and accept the projects of erosion issues along pipeline.
• Conduct maintenances to the auxiliary facilities of the pipelines.
• Pipeline safety management and maintain well coordination with local government (such as programming bureau, public security bureau, security inspection bureau, village or town government and so on )to get support on pipeline protection.
• Support company propaganda on pipeline protection.
