Since the first LNG cargo “Northwest Sea Eagle” successfully unloaded on May 26, 2006, Guangdong Dapeng LNG Terminal has received 10 million tones LNG in total by Sept. 17, 2009 while receiving the162nd LNG cargo, Dapeng Sun. The milestone achievement not only demonstrated GDLNG’s world class safety management but also signified the great success on our commercial operation.
Guangdong LNG project is a business chain consisting of LNG importing, shipment, receiving and transmitting. Every link is critical for the overall commercial operation. In GDLNG, a “safety operation” is always our No. 1 priority. We established a sophisticated Safety Management System. and also established and been maintaining good relation with partners. Till today, more than 40 different LNG ships from all over the world have visited and unload LNG in GDLNG terminal, provided clean, efficient, reliable and safe energy to support Guangdong’s fast economic growth.
