With the international safest precast reinforced concrete roofs, the full containment LNG Storage Tanks, as the core facilities of LNG, can bear tremendous impact of external force. They were specially designed as two-layer tanks. If a leakage occurs in any inner storage tank, the leaking LNG will only enter into the specially constructed outer tank instead of the atmosphere.

During normal operations, boil off gas in LNG tanks are processed through the vapour handing system for recovery. During the abnormal situations, amount of boil off gas are generated and the vapour handing system is overloaded, excess gas will be directed into the flare stack for burning out.

A Fire & Gas Detection System monitors and protects the entire area of the receiving terminal. If the system detects either fire, flammable gas leaks or smoke, it will alarm and automatically shut down the relevant system.

A Safety Instrument System inspects the entire process. In case of emergency, Safety Instrument System (SIS) will automatically shut down the relevant system.

Trunkline's Gas Management System provides a real-time monitoring on the pressure, temperature and flow rate of all off-take stations. If there is any abnormal signal, the system will automatically activate the alarm, and operators will acknowledge the alarm.

The function of Off-take Station includes natural gas distribution and heating, metering and flow/pressure control, as well as venting in safe way.

Its function is to separate under emergency condition in order to reduce the leakage of Natural Gas.
